RF408ทำไมต่อWLANได้ 72MBPS

 Q1 :  What is a real speed that WLAN combo card connected to the N-Type Wireless LAN router
        ความเร็วที่แท้จริงของ WLAN Combo ที่อยู่ในเครื่องรุ่นใหม่ เมื่อเชื่อมต่อกับ Wireless ชนิด N  คือเท่าไหร่
A:   => Max speed is 72 Mbps, Broadcom 1x1 Combo module´s spec (unsupported FAT channel) 
         Speed สูงสุดคือ   72 Mbps,  มันเป็น Broadcom สเป็ค 1 ตัวรับ X 1 ตัวส่ง    (รุ่นนี้ไม่ รองรับ FAT Channel)

Q2: Why the normal WLAN in N220 connect to N-Type Router only 150 Mbps  (should be 300 Mbps)
         ทำไมความเร็วของไวล์เลสแลนในเครื่องรุ่น  N220 เชื่อมต่อกับ Wireless ชนิด N ได้เพิยง 150 Mbps (ควรเป็น 300 MBps)
A:  =>  If 1x1 Combo module can support FAT channel, then can provide Max.150Mbps

             ถ้า 1 x 1 combo สามารถรองรับ FAT channel มันจะสามารถเชื่อมต่อด้วยความเร็วสูงสุด  150 Mbps
       Max. 300Mbps(MCS15, Guard Interval:400ns) is 2x2 Combo module can provide 
            ความเร็วสูงสุดของ MCS15, Guard Interval:400ns   = 300Mbps  เพราะรุ่นนี้มี   2 ตัวส่ง  x  2 ตัวรับ

Q3:   RF408 use Broadcom WLAN Combo card connected speed = 72 Mbps,
 if replace with Atheros WLAN  it connected  = 150 Mbps    Why ?
        เครื่องรุ่น  RF408 ปกติใช้ Broadcom WLAN Combo สามารถเชื่อมต่อได้  72 Mbps 
         แต่ถ้าเราเปลี่ยนเป็น  WLAN Card ของ Atheros ที่นำมาจาก N220  ทำไมถึง connect ได้  150 Mbps
A:   => It depends on chipset.  
            ขึ้นอยู่กับ Chipset

                   1x1 Combo (supported FAT channel) : Max.150Mbps

ความหมายของคำศัพท์ต่างๆ

FAT channel  คืออะไร 
คือการที่  Wireless LAN Card ที่อยู่ในเครื่อง Notebook สามารถเชื่อมต่อกับตัวส่ง  (Access Point Router)
ในแนวกว้าง   ถ้า WLAN Card ตัวไหนที่มี สเป็คที่ไม่สามารถเชื่อมต่อในแนวกว้างได้ เราเรียกว่า unsupported FAT Channel  ความเร็วในการเชื่อมต่อจะน้อยกว่า
 
COMBO = การนำเอา Wireless LAN มารวมกับ Bluetooth เป็น card เดียวกัน
Mbps = ความเร็ว เม๊กกาบิท ต่อ วินาที
MCS7, Guard Interval:400ns  คือ  ความถี่และความเร็วในการทำงานของตัว  Wireless Access Point
   รุ่นนี้ connect ได้สูงสุด 150 Mbps
MCS15, Guard Interval:400ns   รุ่นนี้ connect ได้สูงสุด 300Mbps

หมายเหตุ   ในความเป็นจริง ความเร็วในการเชื่อมต่อระหว่าง Notebook – Wireless Router นั้น ไม่ใด้เป็นปัจจัยหลักที่ทำให้การ download ข้อมูลช้าลง  เพราะคอขวดไม่ได้อยู่ที่ตรงนี้   คอขวดที่ทำให้เรา download ช้าเนื่องมาจาก Server ของเว็บนั้นๆ และจำนวนผู้เข้ามาใช้งาน Server นั้นพร้อมๆกัน  ทำให้ network ที่เข้าไปยังข้อมูลนั้นถูกแย่งกันใช้
